Sv. Barbara

A wine made from the Malvasia grape variety, indigenous to Istria. It is a wine aged for 12 months in French oak barrels (225L), after that for another 12 months in stainless steel barrels and then matured in bottles. It is straw yellow in colour, bolder in character, with a creamy texture and characterised mainly by a scent of mature fruit, with notes of vanilla and caramel.

It pairs nicely with seafood, octopus and recipes with asparagus.
